When I first came to Heritage Baptist Church in 1995, the thing that attracted me to becoming a member was the love and kindness that was shown to me. Heritage is a Church that accepts you as you are, because when it comes right down to it we all share a common denominator: we are all sinners.
Romans 3:23 - "For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God."
God has blessed the church in many ways by giving us an opportunity to affect not only those in our community, but reach out to the world. We support both local and foreign ministries (and you can read more about them on our "missions" page), and several from our congregation have been blessed with the experience of going to foreign countries on mission trips. Back here at home we have a van ministry to provide transportation to church for those who are in need, and a new activities building that is touching the lives of children, youth, and families alike. We partner with other Church’s in our community to help the needy families in our community through L.E.R.M.A. Also our Kids Hope program partners with our local Elementary School to bring the love of Christ back in our Schools.
